We are open and accepting to; LGBTQ+ and persons with disabilities. Bigotry and such is not allowed here.
All participants must be over the age of 21. This is due to alcohol possibly being involved.
NSFW anything is not allowed here. It's a food festival and hosted in an open world area after all!
No harassing others, leave your drama outside of the event. If you are caught doing so you will be asked to leave.
We are a roleplay focused event, requiring OOC gil for any form of roleplay is not allowed. However, you may donate/tip at your discretion.

IC Rules

Found posted around the event grounds as well as on pamphlets. Trash bins can also be found scattered about as well.

Respect one another, staff, vendors, security, the environment, and yourself.
Clean up after yourselves.
Try not to drink yourselves into ditches and curse like a sailor all the way to a goal.
Resist 'Five Finger Discounts' on the pockets of your fellow patrons and vendors.
Please listen to local law enforcement and those volunteering for security.
No illegal goods.

Vendor Rules

To sign up, you must join our discord. We apologize for any inconviences this may cause.

Food and Drink must be acceptable for mortal consumption.
No NSFW in sexual or heavy drug content.
- W-why are you bringing that stuff to a FOOD festival..?
This is a Food Festival, offerings must be food and drink related.
Your sign-up must be put in and fully completed before wednesday night of the hosted week.
- Please be aware you may be contacted if there is an issue with your menu/carrd. If you do not answer before friday you are liable to lose your spot.
No AI generated content will be posted on this site. Be it carrd, logo, menu items, etc. If your menu contains such we will not be linking it here.
- If you use such and would still like to participate, we kindly ask you make an alternative page for the event that contains no AI media.
As a roleplay focused event, charging OOC gil will not be permitted.

FAQ

Q:What is the difference between Silver and Gold tickets?

A silver is something of your-the vendor's-choosing on the menu. It can be one specific item or one item you might recommend. A gold is something of their-the visitor's-choosing on the menu.

If you've ever been to a midway, certain arcades, or hotels it's similar to "one free play at ring toss" vs "one free play at any midway game". Or "one free stack of pancakes when you dine in" vs "one free entree from the breakfast menu".

Q:My website uses AI, can I still participate in the festivities?

As long as the URL of the page you are having us list on our website contains no AI use. This includes your logo.

While we wish to fully support human made creativity, as well do not support AI ourselves, we understand that some individuals may feel they are being shunned or excluded for using such. Even when they support actual artist, essentially having both. We are also aware of how certain individuals will "witch hunt" these persons without question.

Again, we do not support AI nor will we allow such posted on our site. However, that does not mean you cannot participate at all. We are not here to police how you do whatever you do outside the event.

This goes the same for NSFW venues, when providing your link please make sure it does not lead to any pages containing NSFW.

Q:I don't have a website, but I have descriptions and some images. Can I also have the images placed directly on the stall's popup?

Yes, so long as you have everything settled before the deadline! Please be sure to @ "Yugen" on our discord in "planning-discussion" channel for further questions. The better resolution of your images the better it'll appear on site.

Q:Can our group have more than one stall? Like one for food and one for a food activity?

Yes, if the idea behind the stall is vastly differing you may occupy more than one stall. Please be sure to make mention of such when selecting a preferred location that you wish to be next to one another.

Q:I don't have an actual venue or carrd, but a character who wants to come share their cooking. Can they have a booth?

Absolutely! We can even post details of what you're offering directly here if you'd like. Just be sure to communicate with us in our discord so we can get everything up to your liking.

Vendor Guidelines

Please have a dedicated theme for your menu. Think the following;
- Specials or favorites from your venue.
- Only baked goods and things that go good with your goodies.
- Hingan/Doman/Thavnairian/Garlean/Gridanian/Kitchensinkian/Etc. cuisine
- Bob's latest culinary experimentation (please be acceptable for mortal consumption)
- Sally's favorites from around the globe.
- Carnival/Festival/Etc. classic favorites
- Home made candies
- Specialty brews/fermentations/etc.
- Honey, produce, homemade pickles, etc. from your farms/homesteads/etc.
- Limited effect magical treats for purposes of funsies.
- Personal made blends of teas or drinks.
- Specialty teas or drinks from specific parts of the world.
- Foods from your home village/town/etc.

Vendors Without Menu

This option is for persons who do not have or do not otherwise have access to website builders like carrd but still wish to participate (trust me, I had to use a VPN to access carrd overseas, they're out there).

Please prepare a maximum (no more than) of 10 menu items and we can plug it directly into the festival's map page for you. Typical vendor rules apply.

Activity Guidelines

Activity stalls are welcome so long as they are food related. Think;

You can take normal festival games and make them food related!

Example 1: A ring toss game using rings that look like onion rings.
Example 2: Bean bag toss where you toss beans into baskets to protect them from those pesky opo-opos.
Example 3: Dunk the donut holes (balls) into the coffee cups (floating).

Honestly, there's a lot, if you're unsure just ask! We simply ask you try not to double up and have decent description of your offers.

Vendor Tickets

Ticket runs are meant for visitors to get to try new things even when they are without gil or budget to do so IC. Or for just helping promote your booth! These coupon booklets are paid for by Yugen or offered willingly by stall owners. They are assumed to be obtained by him (IC you can walk around and find him) or one of the origami cranes fluttering around during the event (OOC/handwave/self RP'd).

Each guest gets a maximum of one booklet in which they can exchange for one (1) item to the ticket's matching stall. Be ready to go around and try new things!
